1. slapt Opening - Lord Sullivan

http://www.slapt.me opened its doors on the 18th June 2009 as a new Independent and inovative shopping experience for SL. Creating Values for both shoppers and merchants, in an honest and transparent enviroment. SLapt.me is Adult Merchant friendly.

slapt.me has simplified the interface used by the main shopping site in SL and will be offering an easy way to sell your SL products. slapt.me is dedicated to bringing new and creative ideas to the SL market place, both in your product offerings as well as in our marketing events and our forums. We will continue to develop our unique brand positioning for you our clients, to continually maintain and grow our solid brand recognition, and to adhere to high quality customer service standards. Because everyone wants to have fun everyday, slapt.me will continue to offer something for everyone with fun always in mind and we will never censor you or your products.

The initial launch will include a 'slapt Box' to be used in world to store the products for delivery and an easy to use listing system on the website and there are individual profiles for the Merchants with space for all the relevant information such as in world store locations and listings of all their products for sale.

The slapt.me team comprising of Constanza Amsterdam (Website), Kosta cela and Bykoff Sonste (Technical) will be working hard to bring some exciting new features to the system over the coming weeks, (details will be released on the slapt.me site as they happen) and between them they are committed to, as merchants themselves listening to what the customer wants from the slapt.me site and will shape it accordingly and they fully understand that the success of slapt.me will only happen with happy customers and merchants. They have all been in SL for some time with a good working knowledge of SL on both a business and social level.

     

Currently the extra services available at the website are the forums and the wiki, the wiki is in service now, and is a separate sign up to the shop and forums. Further features such as a Linden dollar exchange and the abilitly to cash out via paypal will be added over the coming weeks.

slapt.me is housed on its own high speed dedicated server here in Amsterdam for reliability and will be upgraded as required to always deliver a fast, efficient and trouble free service.

slapt.me is looking to place its SLapt Terminals in world and is seeking placement spots for the terminals (6 Prims each).

2. Fiction Contest

Think you write great BDSM fiction? If so, consider entering the BDSM-Life Newsletter Fiction Contest. In addition to publishing the winning entries, the first place winner will receive $600L, second place will take $300L, and third is worth $100L.

What are we looking for? We want something fresh and exciting, and obviously with a BDSM slant, of course! Although your submission may be inspired by SL events, please do not submit verbatim chat logs. And we would prefer stories that are well written and easily readable. I hate to be the typical schoolmarm, but poor spelling and missing punctuation can render the best story unreadable. Nor does our editing staff have the time to edit submissions for publication. So please try to make your writing as clean as possible if you want to be seriously considered, OK?

The submission window closes June 30! Submitting entries to Roni Scarmon immediately. The winners will be announced July 7.

3. Adult Content - Age Verification

Like it or not, you need to be age verified if you want to continue to enjoy the BDSM Life sim. One way to do so is to purchase Lindens. You can supply credit card information directly to LL or use Pay Pal, as I have done. An alternative is the Aristotle Integrity check process, which verifies driver's license, national ID card, or passport information for 157 nations. This removes anonymity somewhat, unfortunately, but that's the price we have to pay to access adult content, evidently.

Visit the Aristotle website at http://integrity.aristotle.com/, if you like. It explains the process somewhat, but there is no way to get verified there. Instead, you must visit www.secondlife.com and log in there using your SL avatar name and password. You'd think they'd make it available in world, but that would be too easy, I suppose. Anyway, once you log in you'll see an option for Age Verification in the list of links on the left hand side. Click that to open the page shown below and fill in the requested information.

5. The Hunt - Part 2 - By Larae Magic

The Hunt concludes

Sunhalo had once more stumbled and fallen to her knees as she fled from the Man who would own her body, soul and even her tender heart if she didn’t flee further and escape. Her breath rasping past her lips she took several desperate gulps trying to calm her heart as she struggled to rise.

A firm hand slid into her auburn curls and a scream tore from her lips as she was pulled around to face Him. The Praxis stood, calm…a smile widening upon His lips as He looked down into her wild amber eyes. There was only one word He spoke into the waiting silence broken only by her gasping sob of fear…”surrender”.

Every emotion flooded her slender trembling form, from pure fear of loosing all of who she was to terror at the way every look from Him had spoke of being cherished. Her mind whirled… how could she give up freedom to kneel at His feet! In a swift move she twisted and sank her even white teeth into His arm. But He didn’t let go, other than a barely heard hiss of breath could she tell her bite was even registering. His fingers tightened and pulled the long tresses as the palm of His other hand carefully landed a calculated slap to the pale cheek of the girl He would Master.

Tears sprang to her eyes, her teeth bit deeper and she tasted His blood. Another slap to her stinging cheek, harder and more demanding as His voice deepened with controlled command, “Surrender”. His eyes never left hers, ignoring the teeth that were sunk into His flesh. His fist tightened in her soft curls. His whole being pinpoint alert to every emotion flashing through her eyes, as they matched wills. Her teeth released with as the pressure along her scalp forced her to let go or risk her neck.

Her heart was pounding in fear and emotions she didn’t know how to label as His will pushed against her. His fingers loosened just enough…and in a flash she twisted to run again.

But He had her… with a tug of her hip length hair she whirled into His arms. A hard look upon His face and He knelt in place on one knee dragged her over the other and began to spank her with a force she hadn’t known even in childhood. She fought Him… till her rage turned to tears. His hand gentled and slid along her ass cheek and down her hip…her eyes closed as His fingers glided up her inner thigh to only flare open as His fingers slid into her moist heat and she fought once more. They struggled there… passions flared between them there… His hands sure, firm and demanding on her flesh until she was no longer crying in outrage and fear but in wanting of Him. Yet His hand did not cease… He continued the smart slaps to her rounded rump intermingling with the tender caresses between her thighs.

She couldn’t think, couldn’t conceive of fighting more…”please”.

Praxis’ voice raked over her…”Please, what girl” as His palm continued to fall upon her reddened ass. He knew she would have trouble sitting for several days as He had spared little in this test of wills.

“Please, stop” she cried out… filled with pain and pleasure at His touch to the point her cries echoed through the forest.

“SURRENDER” His voice commanded as He hauled her upright to look deep into her eyes.

She stared into those eyes of the Man she had fled and ran from so desperately, she saw…He would own her, He would command her, yet… she also knew in His Mastery of Her…He would also cherish her.

Two words she answered Him... and in that moment... knew a woman's peace..."I surrender".
