1. Last Saturday's class by Roni Scarmon
The theme of BDSM-Life's Saturday party in the Hard Restraint Cafe last week was Best in Silks or Latex. Constanza Amsterdam generously donated the contest prizes from Eye-Catcher's original collection of silks and shoes. Our beautiful and sexy hostess was Cazzy who was wearing the Eye-Catcher's mint green Zodiac Libra Silks, once again pulled things off without a hitch, unlike my attempt to host a certain Christmas party which will never be mentioned again. All in all, it was a rousing success (or should that be arousing?)
Qudex Coronet spun platters, or MP3s, or whatever it is he does to keep the tunes going. Most of the BDSM regulars were also in attendance, but they are referenced below by first name only to protect the innocent (as if any of us are innocent!)
Winners for Best in Latex:
Tarl, dressed smartly in a white latex toga, took first place, maintaining his amazing record breaking winning streak dating all the way back to 1974. He requested a pair of Eye-Catcher's new fetish ballet boots, although he refused to model them, claiming they were for Melinda, instead. In second place was Chastity, who received a pair of Eye-Catcher's sexy new Zodiac Capricorn Silks. Athaliah came in third place, claiming a pair of the new ballet boots in blue for herself.
Winners for Best in Silks:
Given the number of ties in the Silks category, voters were clearly as divided about the silk wearers as American voters in the last several Presidential elections.
There was a three way tie for first place, between Baby, Kore, and Shiva. Baby, wearing a beautiful set of white Solstice silks, won Eye-Catcher's pink Rahana silks. Kore, dressed in stunning red Solange Goddess Silks, took a set of the Zodiac Scorpio silks as her prize, and Shiva, wearing Fannie Parkins stunning chain silks (!), won a multi-color pack of Eye-Catcher's Mariposa collection.
A two way tie for second place included Amandy and Roni. Amandy, dressed in sexy set of green Analise Seafoam silks, claimed Zodiac Scorpio silks as her prize. Roni, in an apparent attempt to influence the judges, wore a set of the Zodiac Virgo silks already, and forfeit her prize choice as a result. Zibber Lemon took third place in Analise's Gossamer Silks, and won a pair of the red ballet boots.
Congratulations to all of the winners! Be sure to see the pictures below. And I hope to see you all again at the next BDSM party!
Whips came out at one point but rumors of a rumble were quickly quashed and violence was virtually avoided.

3. Stores' Spotlight
A new stall opening at BDSM-Life is Open Collar.
OpenCollar provides a free, high quality BDSM collar with open source scripts. There are some sexy collars you can give to your submissive and they will be proud to wear your collar. :-)
And a new jewellery store opening called Alyssa Bijoux have just opened with
a attractive, different and beautiful jewellery and offers a bit of something for everyone. At BDSM-Life, there is a range of different necklaces, from 'pet' to 'kajura', there is something for every submissive to have a necklace which means something special to them. 5. Events @ BDSM-Life
There are several of events happening at BDSM-Life.
Tuesday – no events
Wednesday - no events
Thursday - BDSM class by Tarl Field Time: 12pm SLT @ Lecture Room*
Friday - Real Restraints class by Tarl Field. Time 12pm SLT @ Lecture Room*
Saturday - Dance event - ususally will have a theme and will have two contests for best costumes. DJ Quadex will be spinning the discs! Time 12pm - 3pm @ Hard Restraint Cafe*
The BDSM-Life slave auctions will be back, and bigger for the better! It will be back on January 31st Saturday @ 3pm SLT. More details coming in the next issue!

6. In other news.......
Some exciting news.......in the next two issues, you will see some exciitng things happening in the newsletter and at BDSM-Life. There will be a competition for the readers of BDSM-Life, and in place of Stores' Spotlight, there will be a new feature for the stores! :-) So, watch this space!
